Thursday Morning Beginner Vinyasa Yoga


Thursday Morning 9am-10am

The Queen's Hall Burley in Wharfedale


Our beginner vinyasa yoga class is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that focus on connecting breath with movement. 


The class starts with breathwork and slow mindful movement to warm-up the body, followed by a series of basic poses including lunges, downward dog, planks, back bends and sun salutations, performed in a flow that includes resting poses.


The pace is generally slow to moderate, allowing beginners to learn proper alignment and breathing techniques. The class usually includes a balance and always concludes with a cool-down and relaxation period, to promote relaxation and mindfulness.

Transitioning through reclined,  seated, kneeling and standing poses for a full body practice.


Mats and props will be provided but if you prefer you can bring your own.

Layers are good for this class, bring something warm for the resting pose at the end of the class.

Vinyasa yoga is both challenging and relaxing. The challenge lies in the pace and the strength required to move smoothly between poses BUT you don't have to be strong or flexible to join this class, this is a beginner level class that will help build endurance, flexibility, and mental focus. 


The meditative nature of synchronising breath with movement provides a calming effect, helping to cultivate a sense of inner peace, it will help reduce stress and improve your sleep and is great way to start your week. 


The class will be taught in 4 week blocks (excluding bank holidays), £30 for a block
