6 Week Strength Course for Women

Why Strength Training Matters

Women typically begin to lose muscle mass in their 30’s and 40’s. Hormonal

changes during perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause can impact bone density, muscle mass, and overall health. Regular strength training helps to:

  • Preserve muscle mass and bone density.
  • Support joint health and mobility.
  • Boost metabolism.

What to Expect

  • Effective movements like squats, lunges, and planks with plenty of repetitions to activate and strengthen muscles.
  • Exercises utilising resistance bands, hand weights and bodyweight for a comprehensive workout.
  • Progressive routines tailored to build strength, tone muscles, and enhance flexibility and balance.
  • Some barefoot exercises to improve stability and joint engagement.

What to Wear

  • Comfortable clothing such as jogging pants or gym leggings
  • Layers are recommended for temperature comfort.
  • Some exercises will be performed barefoot

Come and join our empowering community of women, getting stronger together.
